Plugs & voltage in Malaysia
Type G · 230 V · 50 Hz
Crossing into Indonesia and Thailand means a different plug: no socket type matches. In South-eastern Asia, only Brunei and Singapore use the same Type G (Singapore also at the same voltage and frequency); the other 7 do not. Next door the nominal figure varies within the same range: Thailand lists 220 V and Brunei lists 240 V, while Indonesia shares the 230 V used here.
